So, I'm not sure how to apply the changes once I edit these files, am I missing a step? I had seen the thread about the IR core being down and causing problems and wondered if this was related. I also found forcing the card to be detected as the S350 was not persistent after reboot, again I'm thinking this will be due to me probably missing out a range see this Have I done the right thing by pasting the text from Jan's patch into a file in /v4l-dvb, naming it "s350.patch" and issuing the following command? The scanner in mythtv seems to error constantly about me not putting a frequency in (does it have a 'scan everything' mode?), using the scan command in the terminal I'm having It starts to scan but soon stops saying tuning failed.
If you get it working let me know what you did please. Because on my Ubuntu it don't work.
